A couple of snaps from the week gone (I just wrote snacks instead of snaps, can you tell what’s on my mind?). Here I am dressed as bear about to read Nick Bland’s The Very Noisy Bear to a pile of preschoolers. And here is a group of children getting their craft on. Man, stick out some scissors, glue and coloured paper and life is so sorted for kids. Why isn’t it that simple for us older folk? In this instance they were making Father’s Day cards. Both of these scenes kind of sum up why I do this library thing (also, books) – to make kids laugh out loud with words, or have them lost in the world of creation. That’s the business.
Yours the liBEARian,
